I first met Jason about 15 years ago when we were the only people who had the gall to wear Acid Jazz t-shirts to a rock club. He was a lovely guy with a real passion for his music. I haven't seen him for a good few years now; but I was always proud when I heard what he'd achieved. He deserved to be playing and enjoying his music well into his old age. RIP Jason. Wherever you are, I hope you can play your sax as loud as you like.
