look, i know postrock is hard to disect sometimes but explosions in the sky is very much doing its own thing.

EITS are knockoffs of MOGWAI. They are talented but have no basis for their songs besides MOGWAI albums. A mere emotional hipster movement. Not to be competitive though. MOGWAI rule Scotland and that includes Texas. I saw EITS live this year and found it to be terribly repetative and obvious. Even Godspeed! were influenced by the Glasgow stallions so why not give them a listen?
