Its very interesting to note that the German Chancellor Frau Angela Merkel is re-opening the sports school that produced all the great women sprinters like Marita Koch, Marlies Gohr, Heike Drechsler, Katrin Krabbe, Silke Moller. Germany will have great women stars again very soon.

If Katrine Krabbe had trained on after winning the Worlds at 100m & 200m a year earlier in Tokyo she would've beaten all these also rans into the ground! Pity she got caught cheating but boy she was the sexiest woman athlete of ALL time.

to be honest, flo jo's career up until 88 was a lot better than Cuthbert's. She had a silver in 84 and the 87 worlds. And though I don't doubt that cuthbert was good, she ran 10.8 and 21.8 in one year and did nothing close before or after. I'm sure you'd like to chalk it up to "good training" or other such voodoo. But I call it extremely suspicious.
