i believe the lion king is one of the most beautiful films of all time. the music still brings tears to my eyes.and the music for the last samurai is simply moving; used to great effect in the movie.i think the world should be grateful to have BOTH hans zimmer and john williams, both are excellent composers and both have contributed in the making of many classic pieces.

I totally agree with gubaguba123. Those pieces are up there in the top.It is easy to recognize pieces of Hans Zimmer because he always have this rock beat to his themes. This goes mostly from music in the 90's.Haven't heard any really good pieces from him lately though.
