I'd rate it a 3.5/5, with Raiders being a 5/5, Temple of Doom being a 3.75/5 (Marion beats Willie, though Willie's great too, and I like Short Round and Mutt equally, but I think Temple of Doom had a more sinister villian and a tigheter storyline), and The Last Crusade being a 2.75/5 (The Ford/Connery chemistry was great, and the ending was too, but the rest, inclduing the villian, girl, story, and supporting cast, are just not as exciting imo, and i LOVE the "real" Grali legend.)Agree?

I think the movie was good overall, if you were one of two kinds of viewers- old Indy fnas that were willing to accpet the bit-far fetched but not (yet) too impossible storyline, OR someone who was a fan of similar films or film series that have a similar idea with a cnetral character adventuring and relying on his wit; I think POTC fans would have enjoyed this movie (I'm going off of me, i like both franchises, tell me if you disagree, thogh I expect you would anyway.)

I lost the taste when the aliens appeared, the FIRST straw was when the nuke testing hit, and SOMEHOW, the fridge was the ONLY thing that wasent incinerated, although everything around it was, also funny that he lived the crash after the fridge was blown sky high and crashed...I gotta say this was NOT the Indiana Jones that should be used to coninute the series... Although it had its "Good" moments i suppose. 2.5/5 if i had to rate it.

Why does so many people dont like this movie??I think it was very good.. Exept from the alien scene.. So man people didnt like the movie only beacuse of that little part.. WHATEVER! Its just another great Inidana Jones movie! I like all 4 :) Not beacuse im am Indy fan, but also beacuse they are all GOOD movies! |
