I remember seeing Lou Reed at Charlton Football Club in '74. Rock 'N' Roll Animal was basically the set. Hearing Intro/Sweet Jane for the very first time just blew me away. I found the programme a few weeks ago and I'll never forget that day ... as there were also one or two other bands of some reknown playing as well!!

Favorite Lou Reed song but dont like the comment on the our statue of liberty though. It's up to everyone to make his own way here. This America not France.

Love this album. Got it from the public library when I was younger, not knowing much about Lou Reed and thought it was so different. |
