What you could do as Ive done this with my cam is stick some foam/sponge over the mic this cuts out quite a bit of wind noise .

I'm sorry if some of the friends watching this video don't agree with the audio background, but as I mentioned before, the microphone of my camera was hissing really noisy due to the wind (this video was filmed outside)and Stinkfist by Tool was my option to fill the audio background.All the best, WeatheRMan.
