WHAT???!!! man "he couldn't touch the likes of Buddy Rich, Louie Bellson...", and thats both ways!!!... I cant inmagine the sound of Led Zep with any of those drummers. They can't top what he did either, don't you think?

listen since iv been loving you live at the bbc, i guess we are talking about telepathy here! No other drumer ever could get hes sound man, that rock funk shit was really hes thing. In jazz fusion there are faster and crazier drummer but no one can top him on rock.He is not a machine of course, its a real human musician playing rithms with deep feeling.

C'mon dude, drumming its not just about ability! Buddy was great but they are totally different. And what about Bonzo sound? No other ever could have that sound, its BIG,deep, powefull etc. Nobody (even Buddy R.) could do what he did... (and of course, viseversa).
