I agree with you if you're talking about TODAY's form of rap music. But you're wrong if you mean rap music as a whole. Rap used to be a serious form of expression back when we had 2Pac, Big L, and many of our other old school rappers. But now, it's just about fucking hoes and spinning rims. But there are some good artists out there. Listen to Lupe Fiasco, Nas and Mos Def, for example

Rap is a moronic pile of dog vomit trying to be passed as a type of music even though it has no instruments, singing, or talent. It usually consists of a black male talking or mumbling into a microphone using every curse word imaginable while a pre-recorded track plays in the background. Rap fans claim that its a form of poetry but they are dead wrong. Poetry is poetry, rap is garbage.
