I saw him when he opened for "X" at... gulp... Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre in Orange County, CA back in 1985-6? Having seen "X" many times before in smoky clubs, I thought I should see them in broad daylight at least once. Mr. Bragg stood there with nothing but a guitar and his wit and stole the show. Never forgot him; Have his albums; Followed his politics, and was inspired by his convictions (though I'm a Yank). A man with integrity. I'd pay to see him anytime, but he isn't touring the U.S.
