The best song from R.E.M for me too. The band themselves used to play it in every concert as they were touring during that time and later. I like their music from those years best, from start to about 2000, whereas in later years Michael Stipe got slightly arrogant, at least in my view. Surely others disagree ;-). There are so many stunning, haunting songs, sad ones often, but unforgettable.
