I would watch Fox News if I could afford cable. Oh, and the same kind of people who used violence to protest the war were the same ones who spit on returning soldiers who had been drafted to fight in that lost cause. You are right that the 60's were a different time. And I am not saying anything about Obama having a link to the acts. I just question his judgment in hanging with people like Ayers and Dohrn.

First off get off your high horse. You see things one way. Besides the fact that Obama has no link to these acts, the 60's were also a different time, you think that they are terrorists because they took action against a war they disagreed with, with no intent to harm civilians! Think about the other side of the coin there, we sent so many soldiers to die for a lost cause, that wasn't our war. They were trying to save those lives and you can't see that. Just go watch Fox in ignorance.

Ask Ward Churchill how much it takes to become a distinguished professor. That title does not confer a lot of credibility. Oh, and by the way, he did inadvertently blow up a couple of his terrorist friends when a detonating device went off early. Serves them right. And the only reason he got off was because of a technicality. He says he wishes he had done more (NY Times, 9/11/01). And he did permanently injure several people with those bombs. But why would you care, as long as agrees with you?
