He was forced to free them in the long run because of politics.Ron Paul wants to wipe the slate clean completely of all lines between races. That includes not using taxpayer's money to give out rewards or set up holidays at the drop of a hat.

But, being an impartial view of the past, I understand, though not agree, with how things worked back then and how people thought.You try to use modern day morals to judge last century's culture.
