in the US christians are generally the most vocal critics of homosexuality. no one asks buddhists because they tend not to be as vehement about the issue - and less outspoken in general about their beliefs, far as i can see. anyway, christians are far more represented than any other religious group in the US.so that's why the media focuses on them.

Shouldn't you as a Christian speak first with love and not ridicule for your belief? don't you hate it when we are criticized for being hypocritical for putting other people down? Actually Christians face a lot of discrimination. Check out the media sometime. When Gay rights groups raise all sorts of drama you don't see the media looking to the Buddhists for a reply nor to muslims. They want to know what the church has to say. I do agree that you have been poorly represented in previous comments. No one should ever be told they are going to hell especially when it comes from a "Christian." I am a firm Believer in Christ and I will love you whether you believe him or not.
