when oxygen isnt abundant in a fire it gets smaller to try to save it self from using the remaining oxygen in the room, house, floor etc. well when a sudden source of air is introduced to the fire thats remaining it causes the fire to suddenly eat up that new oxygen and it causes an explosion. you mainly see em when firefighters try to ventilate rooms by busting out windows and doors. flashovers are worse in my opinion cause backdrafts are fairly easy to prevent, flashovers not so much.

I've always loved this song and movie. Now, all I can think of is who will beat the IRON CHEF!

please tell me you're kidding. Hans Zimmer is a joke. He has zero musical skills, he's just a rock orchestra maker with catchy tunes. He will be forgotten.

ya that's how those things usually work out

Holy crap! At long last I found it (by accident)! It's the music used in the trailer for The Lost World: Jurassic Park! Finally...

Thank you, "CinematicScores". A fine presentation of film making and musical scoring at its absolute best.If generations to come think of our time with any admiration at all, it will be because it is "The Time of Hans Zimmer".A grateful heart to Mr. Zimmer and Mr. Howard.

I first heard this music on the original IRON CHEF program and loved it, then I saw BACKDRAFT and realized where it came from! One of the best movie soundtracks, bar none. |
