They need to be punished for what they do."yes much better than prison, and you expect prison will work? except it hasn't there are even dealers in prisons who are able to get drugs. so im guessing we should punish those who eat to much junk food who are at risk of heart attack.or not

"We jail them because they need to make sure they dont use it."are you serious? jail solves drug problems?there are even cops who are in favor of prohibition but disagree that we should put them to jail. the reason because jails is punishment. punishment for what? nothing just for making the wrong decisions. we need to help these people not put them in jail

sometimes jail makes non violent drug addicts become dangerous criminals. The US has the largest jailed population in the world. If you haven't noticed yet, the government doesn't actually care about its people, they want you to perceive them that way so you keep working, and you go about daily life trying to pay your debts which will never cease.

not to say marijuana is harmless because its not. It does cause short term memory loss, but remember that comes about with heavy use. But in life everything is ying and yang. food is survival, too much is obesity and addiction. same with sex, same with work.

i fail to see how marijuana is extremely bad 4 you. you say it damages the lungs but that only occurs when smoked heavily. people don't chain smoke weed. also using a vaporizer does far less damage. furthermore eating it does NO damage. Also, its impossible to O.D. on it.

Is the new meaning of "I" government? Has it changed? "Is that not the very same thing as telling people not to use it?"- i dont speak for the government, i just have an opinion on what it should do.Stop acting like cannabis is a good thing. Its not only a plant, it is a psychological drug that destroys your lungs when you use it. We jail them because they need to make sure they dont use it. How is prohibition unenforceable? Its works to keep a majority away from a certain thing.
