Damn, at first, I skimmed through this part without seeing the whole ep. I figured, Charles and his wife show how they loved Lelouch, and then die. Then, after I watch it, I see they had the whole "The world needs to be cleansed of evil" complex. And that would've been fine, if they didn't have the whole "one consciousness" thing and didn't ignore the present while working for it.And Lelouch totally just owned the whole anime right there, mind raping everyone in one attempt.
