Max Roach has always drawn criticism from people who can't comprehend a drummer actually crossing a bar line. His rhythmic sense is so complex as to seem nonsensical to those who think Dave Weckl is the greatest jazz drummer to ever live.sad...

ok so why did you have to attack me? When i posted what i did i was SERIOUSLY asking if there was something that i was missing. Meaning I understand that there is a crap load of music that i dont understand, i wanted some one to explain what i might have been missing. and your comment that had the phrase "lame white people" i find rather hilarious. That shows that you lack not only humility but you also lack maturity...i suggest you work on those.

dude get an education... from someplace not filled with lame white people that don't understand any non-classical based western musical tradition, thats like saying elvis is a better guitarist than muddy waters... but im sure you dont really care about music anyways
