true, but lil wayne should atleast rap about something that matters instead of blurting out the same punchlines that make no sence. rap about your past & hardship not about the big stupid rims on your car and the money you have, make something better. KRS ONE DJ Premier and all them good artists stay underground for a reason, so they dont get "played out" on the radio

i know what you mean by problem,but they (dre etc)also are-like i said-another form of hip hop -their way,but other UNTALENTED rappers try to copy that and the end result are these clowns you see on tv. amazing that they are loaded & true talent you just don't see them.But REAL hip hop will always be Underground! it was back in the days like that & still is. Today its just HIP POP!Peace!

Personally I dont think Snoop and Dre are legends.. I think they're part of the problem. Look at Snoop Dog, a twat to start with, and then he sells out and releases shit with Akon etc. I think Eminem and 50 cent are also shit. The Game as well.. The real rappers from back in the day are Public Enemy, KRS ONE, Beastie Boys, LL Cool J like you said, Lord Finesse.. etc

no lil wayne is hip hop but hes just new hip hop. u gota think of it this way, buck then in the 80's n shit when run dmc n the whole def jam era was new alot of people thought it was garbage becouse it was new.
