I believe it looks like an acoustic bass to me. It looks like theres even bass strings on it that a tuned really high. the last string looks like a guitar string though, its really thin and when i first saw her it looked like there were only three strings on it

that's just a 4-string guitar. She uses those a lot. Especially on the newer stuff.

It's part of how she sings. Watch how the "jerks" correspond to vocal fades and maybe you'll get it.

definitely. im not sure if she does still with her kid, but she def used to
