I see exactly where you're coming from. Music and lyrics are the most amazing thing this planet has to offer so liking what's popular might not always be the best choice for your taste. Also, calling You tube a dumb community is a dumb statement. Everyone, EVERYONE uses You tube.

true, definatly true. I absolutley adore this song. And many others i might add. Another thing to add is that you can't judge songs by there genre, like people will say, "oh yeah well i don't like rap at all i hate it" well even i you do people need to explore and give other stuff a chance, like maybe you should find some new bands that aren't very popular and explore. youtube is a very dumb community, even though i love it. you have a great point and i respect that.

You just have to realise not everyone is as secure about his musical taste as you most likely are. Got to admit I definitely love this song though. gives me the relaxed feeling I so desperately need some times. A sort of natural high. But again, I agree it's all down to taste and people SHOULD accept others than their own too. I don't expect that to happen on youtube though.

Agreed, but you'll have to admit most people on youtube don't think about stuff as much as you do, and may very well be clinically retarded. Plus, most people don't like others to critisise their taste. The lot would actually feel quite insecure and uncomfortable if they were to be forced into a position in wich their 'good music' and thus their taste and opinion were slammed into the ground without them having done something to "repay". like giving thumbs down

guys its almost like automatic, we're all robots. If we like a song by a band, that doesnt mean we have to like every song by that band or group. Every song video on youtube is rated 5 stars on youtube, every single one. People who give comment like "best song ever" and "i love this song!!1!" get thumbs up and people who give constructed critisism on the song get thumbs down because people who worshup the band only like others that worshup the same band. Guys come on its stupid, liven up. |
