Mate, you are absolutely 100% right - major part of their mucis is based on Paul's bassline which are sheer genius.Paul is an absolute musician and his sense of harmony (as a composer, vocalist or bass player) is what makes Beatles really extraordinary as a band.Completely agree with you.Me myself I can read music and it is absolutely amazing how Paul is constructing his playing.Greatest musician of 20th century

Well said, RonPaulGeorgeRingo. Have you noticed that in so many of their songs Paul's bassline is the driving force of the song? He is never still, always throbbing, always melodic, even hyper, but still appropriate to the song. I love his playing so much that I catch myself humming the bassline! Maybe people are in the dark because they are too busy listening to the vocals, guitars, and drums. But Paul's basslines are divine! |
