Think I saw the name Nichols in a NADA book. Looks like a total roach. Be 1 thing if it were Home Made. Even so, looks like a roach.

the design is counterintuitive. a jet ski requires a constant flow of water to its impeller to provide thrust. a "pickle fork" hull design is a hydro plane, it is intended to lift up out of the water at high speeds. in which case you would never get full use of the engine as as it increases speed the hull lifts up out of the water, once suction is lost to the impeller there is no more thrust. there for a loss in speed. which just repeats. and the high revs will deplete the life of the engine
