OPNayyar(Music composing using imaginative modification of core Indian classical Raagas as well as folk tunes)and Asha and Rafi (singing) represented an awesome musical combination in Hindi films. There was a deep commitment of producers and directors to look at the essence of music in our traditional styles to use them and touch the audiences' heart. This song is a monumental evidence of this truth. BY CONTRAST,CURRENT GENRE OF MDs.,producers,critics,etc.represents a despicably music-deaf combo.

mohammad Rafi the greatest singer in the world EVER. What a voice, what control, what skill, what power. Inimitable even today.
Underrated by the the indian film industry. They should mourn his loss every night and every day.
