This race meant so much to Canada after the 'Ben situation'. Can't imagine the pressure on Bailey. Glad he pulled it off, but I wish he was a bit more gracious and spoke to the immigrant experience. Ben was 'Jamaican' post race results and Canadian pre race..

In all honesty, Donovan Bailey had one of the fastest top speeds in history. His start was probably one of the slowest in 100m history by all standards, and he still managed to run it in 9.84. If he had at least an average or just below average start it could've easily been 9.70 or even 9.69.
