It's a shame Alex didn't wan't to stay longer with Savatage. Really, he's the only guitarist I can think of with enough emotion combined with skill in his playing to even come close of filling the shoes of the great Criss Oliva.

1) Q's were very well chosen. Pleasantly surprised. These kinds of interviews usually have some inane, clichéd questions. 2) Rob was a professional. Others sometimes interrupt, or keep talking, or make a noise from time to time. Rob asked then let Alex talk the whole time. EXACTLY what the viewer wants to see and hear. Bravo. 3) Skolnick's voice is a lot rougher than I expected. Would've thought he had a softer voice, judging by his face. 4) Definitely gonna check out Rob's work from now on.
