I posted it, but I'll be darned if I can link it here. Do a search for "Waldo Wigglesworth comes up with a plan".

Do you have one of those times, or at least, the COOL sounds somewhere?
Freenbean (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
yes, that happened whenever Waldo thought up one of his schemes.

This was in reruns on Channel 18 in Milwaukee when I was 10-ish. 1979-80, I reckon.
And I notice that Waldo Wigglesworth seems to be drawn to look like Hans Conried, which, given the relatively simple animation, is remarkable.

I honestly don't remember. It has been so long since I saw this show.

Do you remember if it was this show where someone was getting an idea, there was a series of clicking clanking noises?

I have not seen this in over 40 years! It is fun to see this again, and I remember the opening to the show. I thought it was really goofy (in the best sense of the word), and it remains so!

I have a tiny Hoppity Hooper magnet, about the size of my thumbnail. It was stuck to the medicine chest in my house when I moved in last year. |
