you cannot just buy a monkey. you need to check with the government to see if its legal in the state. and its around 6000$. also its very expensive to keep up to date with all the shots and buy the cage or spend 400$ on the equipment to build it. you also need to care for it 24/7.take it for walks without letting any strangers pet or touch it especially kids. because even if it gives them a friendly scratch. then it will need shots for rabies or even put down. so cannot have it like a cat or dog
