NO, he died because they blamed him for the break up of Pantera. In fact, Phil's antics and near death brushes caused all this. When he could take it no more, Dimebag left and became his own man. Also, everyone has a dark secret so stop pretending you barely knew. In my opinion, the past is past and the present is what really matters. Dimebag will always epitomize groove metal even if he wasn't in the glam arena.
