What videos like this leave out is that the trash bins they get their food from also have broken glass, rotten food, floor sweepings, spit, used tissues, and GOD knows what else in it, making the food they eat way unsanitary. I catch these freegans all the time and laugh at them outside my store.

Some of the homeless are on drugs unfortunity, so they need the money to feed the habit, its a shame, I'm all for it this is the most creative idea i have seen, and if u dont agree thats fine by me!

Homeless people in New York don't do it because they think it's gross and get money by panhandling. However, every time I've ever gathered a cart of food, I pass out as much as I can to homeless people I pass on the way home. One old lady (whom I gave food to several nights in a row) had tears streaming down her face and said "God bless you!" Didn't tell her where it came from, though.
