nope XS has more realistics sounds than the MO series, pianos, guitars , strings .

I like the Nord Stage more than the Motif, it's like having the real instrument in front of you, not just a patch in which you can't change anything... someone at Yamaha decided what you can play, and nothing else.

The mo8 has the same GHS keyboard as his Motif and is less then half the price... you get all the same sounds but a few less recording options which aren't really a deal breaker because if you record your going to connect it usb to a pc or mac giving you the exact same flexibility, and options

the diff is that the xs has a 300 ram when the es only has 150 nd the xs added almost 4,000 arpegiators so theres a major diff nd im getting one for christmas im getting the xs7 the xs8 is way to expensiv e i would prefer if u r like on a tight budget type thing get the xs6 it on only has 66 keys but its workable so yea bye wat ev i wouldnt prefer anything else only the motif xs or es good luck |
