Actual proof is needed. It would be an interesting experiment if u were 2 take it on? Imagine if what I say is true & just after a few days of chanting, u saw benefit. I wonder if you'll respond I wonder if you'll do what Science would do. Science is based on tested proof or empirical evidence. U conduct a test or experiment & then observe the results. Nothing beats actual proof. You're chanting 4 your life & the life of everything around u...Showing such proof is the mark of a true successor.

You can Google it: Namu Myoho Renge Kyo. Short prayer of Lotus Sutra, the main sutra used in many countries for meditation. There are a couple of English versions on the internet. It's a teaching about Emptiness of things.

It's about both. Nam Myoho Renge Kyo means "devotion to the mystic law of cause and effect through sound." Our actions, the causes we make result in all effects we experience in life. Which is why it's important to make good causes. However it is crucial to chant everyday, so that you directly tap into your buddha nature and be able to have the wisdom/ compassion to make the correct choices in your daily life.
