My God it hurts to watch that. I was about 6 at the game but dont remember much except when they all jumped on Nicky Weaver I have hated him ever since. Those Man City fans knew nothing. We should bring back that team...

I still hate that bias cheating Manchester-based wanker of a referee Halsey, who cheated us out of our victory. What really rubbs insult into injury was he was elected to the Premier League the next season and is still stitching teams up today!At least we went on to have our day of glory the following year v Wigan. The memory of the Preston game was fantastic. I remember the delayed reaction on Bob Taylor's rubbish goal from the away fans- we all went beserk in Preston's crabby old stand.
