I think it's interesting. We (the former Colony of the British) fought for freedom. "Give me liberty or give me death!" This phrase was used as a rally cry for freedom or death. Unfortunately, somewhere between now and then, we've lost our ability to CHOOSE to die. And when a medical physician upholds their oath to ease suffering in the best interest of the suffering patient, we label it murder. How pathetic this country is slowly becoming. To die is a choice. It should be a right as a free man.

Correction, Humans are animals, we are mamals... mamals are animals. if you are terminally ill and are going to die, you probably wouldn't want to be hooked to all that gear in the hospital, your going to die regardless.

I wish you well and I hope GOD blesses you with a long life because you want it.

People obviously don't know what "murder" means.

With that being said, I cannot speak for abortion. I think they are quite different topics, though, admittedly, seem so similar.I mean, yeah, you might be able to breath when your terminal, but sometimes breathing is unbearable. You go remain positive through all that if you want (and are willing), but at least give those who differ in opinion the ability to differ in peace. In any case, I wish you the best.

You can't do anything to help terminally ill individuals. It's harder to remain positive in the face of suffering than people think, I'm assuming. Sure, if you have an illness which is lacking physical or emotional pain, maybe living wouldn't be so bad. However, suffering is the first drop of a waterfall. You suffer, then you die. It's something predictable. Proponents of assisted-suicide are just seeking the right to skip the suffering, and continue to face the inevitable.

'We are not animals that need to be knocked off,'Care to clarify? What makes humans anymore important than other animals? Or is this just a product of your ego?

if someone is dying and dont want to be savedwhy not respect there wished if i was dying i wouldnt want to suffer ive prayed on it and i feel that it is not wrong and you cannot condem someone 4 the choices they will decide to make if it, happens to you (lord willing it wont) then we will see what you decide i have a friend who is dying and he wants that done i respect him for not wanting to suffer.

That's not compassion, its called murder. A truly compassionate person would do everything that they could do to help a terminally ill person. We are not animals that need to be knocked off, if we are not well. And just for your information, I have had several relatives who ended up terminally ill and I myself have cirrhosis. And if it ever came down to it, I will continue to remain positive and hope for the best till the end, rather than end my life. |
