"Jai Guru Deva" translates as (roughly) "Victory to God divine" or "Hail to the divine Guru" - here John might be referring to Maharishi Mahesh Yogi or to spiritual masters in general.:3Om is just an added on word,it does have its' own meaning, though ^^

uh- not exactly killersxoxo- dido what The Kohlbrin said. The beatles, especially George (my fave!) were really into eastern philosophy and meditation. George Harrison was a Hare Krsna. The Beatles were the best band to walk the earth!!!! Nothing can compare!
