yup, just friedman (for the most part) improvised his on the spot, he might have done 2 or 3 takes, but 90% straight up improv. which is insane when u think about this solo

Friedman did. He's the only one able to write solos like the ones on RIP. They all write their own solos, poland, drover, pitrelli did theirs too. Of course, mustaine writes as well the solos he plays.

Friedman AND Mustaine are so much better than hammmett. A vid is supposed to spotlight the lead guitar player when he's doing his solo. Not go back and forth between the singer and the lead guitar in the middle of the solo. Poor videography. I wonder if that was dave's idea. Jealous bastard
