That's how they "seat" clutch pack in a top fueler. After warming up the engine and making sure everything is running properly the driver locks the brakes then slams the trottle wide open with a quick kick with his foot. It's fuckin unbelievable the amount of power u feel when standing beside it!

Fuck i miss decent drag racing. Once saw a 4.96 Pass almost 8 years ago, not bad for this country. As for top fuel funny cars not to many around but a few. Tend to go for the top alcy in funny cars here. Plus Americans are spoilt with drag racing. l mean a bus that can go down strip on back wheels in 7 sec's, (look at my profile). Dont see that here. Next time i go to U.S have to see a drag meet. Seen jets too, fucking loud but not as awesome as fuelers. 4 1/2 sec whew isnt that normal in U.S

Thanks guys.enemyracing ive been to warms ups before, but a while ago.spudgun05 how true, can cost a fortune.JUNIORROTAX055, hard to tell on youtube. 91slownotch thanks, i can see that now.and i have seen fuelers plenty of times, years ago. lm from Victoria Australia and pissed as there is no good drag racing in this state anymore. Have to go 100's or 1000's of miles to see fuelers or my fav's Top doorslammers.l love drag racing but have to watch it on pay tv or you tube.

Backfiring id say,plus it runs on nitro. Reved fuck out of it to quick. Noticed it ran a shithouse after when he gradually built up the rev's. Could be a number of things, exhaust leaks, blower, fuel lines and or pump, top end, These monsters would be a pain in the ass to tune. The fuel pumps alone cost, like $1700 in U.S for a resonably good one.
