People can say what say want about Muller. But he was the most lethal striker of ALL times. No one else. If you want entertainment you need Henry, Ronaldinho or Etoo. If you need a goal you need Muller. As I said, most deadly man in modern football. Awesome killerinstinct.

It is silly to compare a striker with an offensive midfielder. If you look at 100 years of football and have to pick one player to wear *the* jersey with the "9" on the back, it will be no one else than Gerd Müller who will wear it.

dear novatrek, that was about Muller, who was a very, very special type of player. Maradona was brilliant, of course! My posting was related to someone, who tried to compare Muller with Maradona. After many private and financial problems, Muller is now coaching young players at Bayern Muenchen. Bayern's management (Rummenige, Hoeness and Beckenbauer) support their veterans in a very social manner. And sorry for errors due to my bad English.
