That's more or less exactly what I'm saying. The M5 is probably a bit faster (not a whole lot) in a straight line, and has greater top speed, than the Evo X. The Evo, however, will probably corner better because its far lighter and smaller, and has four wheel drive. The evo will not be "killed" by the M5 in straight line speed either, until you get beyond 200kph+. The M5 is faster, but not by very much. It's like .2 seconds that differs in 0-100kph between the two.

Calm down, I didnt say the M5 is a bad car. In fact, i really like it. But be realistic. The Evo is a smaller, lighter car with about the same straight-line speed. The fact that it's smaller, lighter and has four wheel drive makes it go faster around corners, so on a track it would probably be a bit faster than the M5. The M5 however, does have more equipment as standard, and is generally bigger and more luxurious. Plus its german and has the big BMW-badge. Of course it costs more.

You know how Tiff spent the first 2/3 of this video driving to the south of France? That's where the M5 beats the snot out of the Evo. There's a reason the BMW costs more. It's because it can do more. Simple.
