absolutely love this, youve got good common sense, i believe there is out of earth life, but if anybody would actually have a non idiotic ufo experience then it would be on the news at least....

You, an astronomer (many are smug cynics), spent countless hours peering at various stars via 'scope. Bet'cha you've never seen ANYTHING not prosaically explicable, right? Yet anecdotal evidence for E.T.s is so pervasive, it demands closer scrutiny; within and without. Shermer's straightjacket is too tight.

Amendment(ahem): compelling ANECDOTAL "evidence." Really, most the shit I've collected in my favs (like a bee collecting pollen -mostly done with that now) is dubious at best, downright fraudulent at worst. But the Australian UFO clips are probably my favorite here. Is it all valid E.T. craft? Not fuck'n likely. So is it all bullshit then? Look man, it boils down to how radically and hard-core one defines "evidence," (read Shermer) and one's EMOTIONAL convictions, pro or con. (..continued..)

Valid point, redshift40. It's becoming a fool's game to try differentiating potentially real footage from CGI fakes. But there is a lot of compelling evidence out there, too. This fool's not done with it yet. And this vid goes into my Favorites.
