I'm glad I was able to make you feel even a little bit better. I'm sorry to read that you are sick. Take good care of yourself. When you feel dowm try to think of a time in your life when you laughed so hard your side hurt...and before you know it, you'll be laughing like that again. God bless you! You're awesome!

Dyannah811: Thank you so much. It's been a rough birthday this year. I miss my aunt even more b/c we didn't get to celebrate our birthdays together as we did before her death even though I had her on my mind on her birthday & mind too; Lupus/Sjogren's takes so much out of me that I feel so old. I want to be here when my oldest grads college, little one grads H/S then college, both marry, & 1day witness my grandchildren. I want that so much. Thxs again, you've been wonderful @ a rough time for me

I'm sure she's both proud and ashamed. And if she isn't, your brother is truly grateful for having you as a big sister and role model. Look at everything you have accomplished in your life, considering you raised yourself and your lil brother. Your girls are your legacy and look at how well they are doing. You truly are an inspiration. BTW, Happy Birthday and many more.

dyannah: My only regret is not doing more; there's only so much a 15/16yo can do raising a brother & one's own child w/o support If it wasn't for my aunt, who was my constant, I'm not sure I'd be here today. Mother's Day & our Birthdays are hardest. I was her "birthday present" as I was born one day before her birthday. Thanksgiving was tough this year. My BD came day after T-day, which is when I was born, day after T-day. I expected her call hwr,its in my heart; I only hope she's proud of me.

B/C of much bad blood and/or strange circling of the horses before an argument, I can so truly relate to this. This will likely hurt my mother but the woman that molded me into the woman I am today wasn't the one who gave birth to me; she's the one who gave me life, lessons, and advice that is never outdated or antiquated; it is as important today as ever & I live by her lessons. B/C of this wonderful woman, my oldest is in 3rd yr of college & youngest is halfway in school w/straight A grades.

I played mom role to brother 5yrs younger. I was parent, mom was the child; I tolerated physical abuse from alcoholic father freq. She'd leave but come back when the promises began only to have it happen again. I finally left & brother followed shortly to graduate HS, work w/DH & still in business trade today w/fam of is own. Lost count of Mom's hubbys/beau's but I'm hitting 20 yrs in my marriage w/2girls,1 in college. Mom's oldest sis was my mom; 6yrs after her death, she's here & cont's guiding |
