I worked with Gibson Guitars for many years, and had the pleasure of hanging with Jan at one of the music trade shows in Germany, and this guy is one of the most talented players in the world, I mean listen to his riffs - in 1973!!! This guy blew everyone off the charts, and most of us only know him for this one song. Check out some of his (and Focus') music and see if you don't agree with me that Jan Akkerman is one of the most UNDERrated guitar players alive.... Day-um!
