But you forgot that your presious Sega Genesis killed it's self with it's shitty ass ad-ons.But I will say this Streets of Rage 2,Sonic 3 and Knuckles,Mortal Kombat,Comix Zone and Phansty Star were awesome games!But SNES for life!

dude dis game rules i used to have it until my dad threw away da snes..along wit dis game, street fighter 2, and super mario all stars..i wuz hecka pissed!!!! now i have da wii 1 only and i wish i can play dis game again someday

Man I wish this game will come on virtual counsol. This is the only Mario Kart game I never played. (Expect for the 6 stages that returned in both Mario Kart DS, and Wii) I don't have Super Mario Kart, or Mario Kart 64, But I have 64 on my wii. So this is the only Mario Kart game I need to play.

I have a very important question, how the crap do you save data on this game!? i know how reset it, but i don't know how to save it, so i cant open the freakin special cup in 100cc! Help!

I just picked this up at the Movie Trading Company for six dollars! I have to agree that this was the best mario kart games of all time. A tip I learned for finding old systems and games: Go to electronics or video stores in lower income parts of town these seem to always have TONS of old systems and games on the cheap! When in a more high income area, visit the Goodwills or other thrift stores. I got a perfectly functioning Genesis and five games for ten dollars!

I want this game so bad. I had forgotten about the coins,driving over item boxes. feathers, 5 lap courses, 5 course circuits and lastly the awsome courses. This Mario Kart by far is my favorite. I also liked how they shot the fish with the shampaign bottle. Special cup on 150 CC was a challenge for me. Took so long to finally get a gold on it. It's been about 10-11 since I've last played this game.
