It would be just an okay cover, but at 2:45 the intensity of the band and the music and everything clicks perfectly, it made the song quite good for me.

I didn't like this one by Lou....a great song but sounds like a micky take of someone doing a version of how Lou Reed would do it. butchered. sorry Lou.Better luck next time. lol.

as i watched, i became irritated with the liberties reed had taken with one of my favorite songs. but the dread he works up in the chorus won me over. a classic reinterpretation i think.

Well, it depends whether you want a faster, more upbeat 1985 Reed sound or a more langourous, sensuous, 1994 Reed sound... both are great. But then, most things by Lou Reed are... |
