it sounds good because of your playing. Great guitars sound great, but the great sound can only come out if the player knows what he/she is doing.

I've been so inpsired by watching Johns videos I went out and bought a 2007 custom shop 1960 relic strat that looks just like his. I stole it for 1500 bucks. They go for 3 grand. I'm so stoked. It sounds so fucking good.

back in the 50s and 60s it was the cheapest color. If you wanted another color, lets say "surf green", you had to pay extra. that`s why other color`s than sunburst are rare in 50s and 60s strats.
