The real-time battle is one of many things I didnt like about FFXII. I dont know, I just didnt connect with the characters like I did in the previous installments. I wasnt even able to get through the game, it felt more like a chore than actual entertainment.I hope FFXIII will be as good as the previous Final Fantasy's, I still have hope after playing Lost Odyssey. I'm also going to get Last Remnant.

"true players know no bounds." Don'tGetMeWrongBut I still love turnbased games. i grew up playing them since part one. But when i got to FFXII i was skeptical. Now I find myself replaying it and observed different aspects of the gambitsystem and came 2 a conclusion that it is just like turned based without the back or preemptive attacks. Gambits allows u 2 use players as you would in a turned based game. it just makes the game move faster, instead of random fights that take time going in and out

eh. I am glad it's FFXIII that is coming to the 360. It uses a variation of the turn-based fighting that I like. FFVersusXIII uses a variation of the real-time fighting, like in FFXII, which I hated. Final Fatasy games should stay turn-based. Its always been that way.

holy shit. i just realized that this is the song that plays when you ride the highwind. but in the game it's much faster. i like this version better though.

from the information that i've received from square was that there is a very good possibility they will have a remake ready for FF7 20th anniversary. :) YEAH!

haha it will also be on the ps3, but final fantasy XIII VURSUS IS coming to ps3 exclusively. FF13 VERSUS WILL BE GREATER THAN JUST 13 FOR BOTH CONSOLES.
