Thank you for posting this. I was 13 when this program was aired. I was glued to the T.V., every Saturday, Ch 4, 8:00 pm. While watching this series, I decided I was going to move to L.A. from N.Y. to become a paramedic. I did so @ 18. I didn't become a Paramedic, but I did become a trauma EMT in a trauma center. I love my job!

Julie London was actually Jack Webb's ex-wife, but he had a good enough relationship with her and her husband Bobby Troup, that he worked with them on the show. And I believe IluvBenJoe is right--everyone else from the cast is still with us.

What is stranger, Jack Webb ( Joe Friday from Dragnet)was the producer, AND Julie Londons ex-husband. The station they ran out of was actually LACOFD STA 126, now named the R.A. Cinader station, for the executive producer of the show. Eng 51 was up at yosemite park for a number of years too

Hello wlittle, Yes, Julie London and Bobby Troup were married. As far as I know the rest of the cast is still alive. Does anyone else know if this is correct? Thanks for stopping by. It's greatly appreciated!! :o) |
