While there are legitimate cases of police brutality, abuse, and using tazers inappropriately, in this case the drunk idiot deserved it. The officer seemed reasonable enough, if the guy had just complied the tazer wouldn't have been used at all.

I don't think the cop was too out of line but once he started tasing the drunkard I think he should have given the guy longer chances to comply. I bet it'd be hard for a person - both mentally and physically - to follow directions while they're being electrocuted.

To purplehazeinbrain: Since you're obviously no more than an uneducated punk I'll help you out. Police officer have to get straight up tazed in the chest before the're issued a tazer, so they how much it hurts.And to everyone else: If you don't like cops using tazers let's look at the altenative. The other alternative to this situation is either the cop using his billy club or mace. So, I think this guys lucky only to get tazed. Don't talk shit about someone unless you've been in their place.
