Original footage ... thanks to the efforts of the whole community *) it was finally possible to "decipher" what Einstein is saying:"Now I will add a few words unprepared. [laughter] A country becomes really a soul only in consciously serving the intellectual life, and in the case of our Jewish people it was really this endeavour, which conserved the Jewish people as a whole. We would not be in existence today, as a community of people, without this continued, or discontinued ... ehh ... activity into learning and in thought and in literature."The occasion of this speech is still unknown, though.*) Thanks to rubyslippez, ElmaFudd2 and especially RuniToconillo.

Also try reading the book 'The Manufacture and Sale of Saint Einstein' by the same author. If this book won't convince you folks who idolize Einstein that he was in fact just a bigoted plagiarist, then you should all go and take a hike.

Seems there are more skewed and misinformed people than I thought - zeusfirie and airrocker included... I won't bother with the technicalities as you won't be able to handle it but if you are feeling brave then the book to read is 'The Incorrigible Plagiarist' by Christopher Jon Bjerknes. Incontrovertible proof for what I've been teaching my students for years - that Einstein WAS a plagiarist who copied other people's ideas wholesale and CLAIMED them to be his own.

he may of been a complete genius, but is it worth it when he helped create the atomic bomb. OK, he did not directly participate in the invention of the bomb but he was instrumental in facilitating its development. inevitably, the nuclear bombs will lead to the destruction of mankind.

How did he teach at Princeton his students wouldn't have been able to understand anything he said?
BobMarley211 (December 31, 1969 at 6:59 pm)
he doesnt sound all that smart
heituzi (December 31, 1969 at 6:59 pm)
If his supposedly independent work was so good, he wouldn't have needed to plagiarize later.
brengun42 (December 31, 1969 at 6:59 pm)
How would you explain his many live deliberations in front of students or his papers from the patent office days prior to meeting his wife?
heituzi (December 31, 1969 at 6:59 pm)
He is indeed a fraud. Lived in the US for how many decades, but can't speak a comprehensible line of English. Papers in his wife's handwriting. His mother is his aunt, and his wife his cousin. Two retarded/crazy kids. And he was sick enough to promote the A-bomb.
