i dont mean to correct you but they do use gods name at the begining of the song but its not in the sense of praising him. it says that they are face to face with god. you make a good point and i love to find the christian meanings in skillets songs.

Just because they do not mention the name of God does not mean they are not speaking about Him. He is very evident, however they do not feel the need to use his name like in a straight up worship song. (on another note, Skillet has the most songs singing from God's perspective than most other bands I know...

Yes it is! Surprise, bands can have more than one sound! Skillet has had around 5 different sounds. This is even from their self titled album in 1996, and from their OWN RECORD COMPANY.
